Daftar penduduk Yerusalem dan Yehuda 11:1 Para pemimpin bangsa menetap di Yerusalem, sedang orang-orang lain membuang undi untuk menentukan satu dari sepuluh orang yang harus menetap di Yerusalem, kota yang kudus itu, sedang yang sembilan orang lagi tinggal di kota-kota yang lain. 11:2 Orang-orang memuji setiap orang yang rela menetap di Yerusalem. 11:3 Inilah kepala-kepala propinsi Yehuda yang menetap di Yerusalem, sedang di kota-kota di Yehuda setiap orang, yakni orang-orang Israel awam, para imam, orang-orang Lewi, para budak di bait Allah dan keturunan para hamba Salomo, tinggal di tanah miliknya, di kotanya sendiri. 11:4 Di Yerusalem tinggal orang-orang dari bani Yehuda dan bani Benyamin. Dari anak-anak Yehuda: Ataya bin Uzia bin Zakharia bin Amarya bin Sefaca bin Mahalaleel dari bani Peres, 11:5 dan Maaseya bin Barukh bin Kolhoze bin Hazaya bin Adaya bin Yoyarib bin Zakharia keturunan orang Syela. 11:6 Semua bani Peres yang tinggal di Yerusalem berjumlah empat ratus enam puluh delapan orang yang gagah perkasa. 11:7 Dan inilah bani Benyamin: Salu bin Mesulam bin Yoed bin Pedaya bin Kolaya bin Maaseya bin Itiel bin Yesaya. 11:8 Dan sesudah dia: Gabai, Salai: sembilan ratus dua puluh delapan orang. 11:9 Yoel bin Zikhri adalah pengawas mereka, sedang Yehuda bin Hasenua adalah wakil penguasa kota. 11:10 Dari para imam: Yedaya bin Yoyarib, Yakhin, 11:11 Seraya bin Hilkia bin Mesulam bin Zadok bin Merayot bin Ahitub, pemuka rumah Allah, 11:12 dan saudara-saudara mereka yang bertugas di rumah itu: delapan ratus dua puluh dua orang. Pula Adaya bin Yeroham bin Pelalya bin Amzi bin Zakharia bin Pasyhur bin Malkia 11:13 dan saudara-saudaranya, kepala-kepala kaum keluarga: dua ratus empat puluh dua orang. Dan Amasai bin Asareel bin Ahzai bin Mesilemot bin Imer, 11:14 dan saudara-saudara mereka, pahlawan-pahlawan yang gagah perkasa, seratus dua puluh delapan orang dengan Zabdiel bin Gedolim sebagai pengawas mereka. 11:15 Dari orang-orang Lewi: Semaya bin Hasub bin Azrikam bin Hasabya bin Buni. 11:16 Pula Sabetai dan Yozabad, kepala-kepala orang-orang Lewi, yang mengawasi pekerjaan di luar rumah Allah. 11:17 Lalu Matanya bin Mikha bin Zabdi bin Asaf, pemimpin yang mengangkat nyanyian syukur dalam doa, dan Bakbukya, orang kedua di antara saudara-saudaranya, dan Abda bin Samua bin Galal bin Yedutun. 11:18 Semua orang Lewi di kota kudus ada dua ratus delapan puluh empat orang. 11:19 Para penunggu pintu gerbang: Akub dan Talmon dengan saudara-saudara mereka yang mengadakan penjagaan di pintu-pintu gerbang, berjumlah seratus tujuh puluh dua orang. 11:20 Selebihnya dari orang-orang Israel awam dan dari para imam dan orang-orang Lewi ada di semua kota Yehuda, masing-masing di tanah pusakanya. 11:21 Tetapi para budak di bait Allah tinggal di Ofel. Ziha dan Gispa adalah pemimpin para budak di bait Allah itu. 11:22 Pengawas orang-orang Lewi di Yerusalem adalah Uzi bin Bani bin Hasabya bin Matanya bin Mikha dari bani Asaf, yakni para penyanyi yang menyanyi sementara berlangsung kebaktian di rumah Allah. 11:23 Karena mengenai mereka ada perintah raja yang menetapkan peraturan untuk para penyanyi menurut keperluan setiap hari. 11:24 Petahya bin Mesezabeel dari bani Zerah bin Yehuda diperbantukan kepada raja untuk segala urusan mengenai bangsa itu. 11:25 Tentang tempat-tempat kediaman di daerah perladangan, sebagian dari bani Yehuda tinggal di Kiryat-Arba dan segala anak kotanya, di Dibon dan segala anak kotanya dan di Yekabzeel dan desa-desanya; 11:26 di Yesua, di Molada dan Bet-Pelet, 11:27 di Hazar-Sual, di Bersyeba dan segala anak kotanya, 11:28 di Ziklag, di Mekhona dan segala anak kotanya, 11:29 di En-Rimon, Zora, Yarmut, 11:30 Zanoah, Adulam dan desa-desanya, di Lakhis dan ladang-ladangnya, dan di Azeka dan segala anak kotanya. Demikianlah mereka berkampung dari Bersyeba sampai lebak Hinom. 11:31 Dan bani Benyamin tinggal mulai dari Geba, di Mikhmas, di Aya, di Betel dan segala anak kotanya, 11:32 di Anatot, Nob dan Ananya, 11:33 di Hazor, Rama dan Gitaim, 11:34 di Hadid, Zeboim dan Nebalat, 11:35 di Lod dan di Ono, Lembah Tukang-tukang. 11:36 Beberapa rombongan orang Lewi dari Yehuda bergabung dengan orang Benyamin.

11:1 Now the leaders of the people dwelt at Jerusalem; the rest of the people cast lots to bring one out of ten to dwell in Jerusalem, the holy city, and ninetenths [were to dwell] in [other] cities.
11:2 And the people blessed all the men who willingly offered themselves to dwell at Jerusalem.
11:3 These [are] the heads of the province who dwelt in Jerusalem. (But in the cities of Judah everyone dwelt in his own possession in their citiesIsraelites, priests, Levites, Nethinim, and descendants of Solomon's servants.)
11:4 Also in Jerusalem dwelt [some] of the children of Judah and of the children of Benjamin. The children of Judah: Athaiah the son of Uzziah, the son of Zechariah, the son of Amariah, the son of Shephatiah, the son of Mahalalel, of the children of Perez;
11:5 and Maaseiah the son of Baruch, the son of ColHozeh, the son of Hazaiah, the son of Adaiah, the son of Joiarib, the son of Zechariah, the son of Shiloni.
11:6 All the sons of Perez who dwelt at Jerusalem [were] four hundred and sixtyeight valiant men.
11:7 And these are the sons of Benjamin: Sallu the son of Meshullam, the son of Joed, the son of Pedaiah, the son of Kolaiah, the son of Maaseiah, the son of Ithiel, the son of Jeshaiah;
11:8 and after him Gabbai [and] Sallai, nine hundred and twentyeight.
11:9 Joel the son of Zichri [was] their overseer, and Judah the son of Senuah [was] second over the city.
11:10 Of the priests: Jedaiah the son of Joiarib, and Jachin;
11:11 Seraiah the son of Hilkiah, the son of Meshullam, the son of Zadok, the son of Meraioth, the son of Ahitub, [was] the leader of the house of God.
11:12 Their brethren who did the work of the house [were] eight hundred and twentytwo; and Adaiah the son of Jeroham, the son of Pelaliah, the son of Amzi, the son of Zechariah, the son of Pashhur, the son of Malchijah,
11:13 and his brethren, heads of the fathers' [houses, were] two hundred and fortytwo; and Amashai the son of Azarel, the son of Ahzai, the son of Meshillemoth, the son of Immer,
11:14 and their brethren, mighty men of valor, [were] one hundred and twentyeight. Their overseer [was] Zabdiel the son of [one of] the great men.
11:15 Also of the Levites: Shemaiah the son of Hasshub, the son of Azrikam, the son of Hashabiah, the son of Bunni;
11:16 Shabbethai and Jozabad, of the heads of the Levites, [had] the oversight of the business outside of the house of God;
11:17 Mattaniah the son of Micha, the son of Zabdi, the son of Asaph, the leader [who] began the thanksgiving with prayer; Bakbukiah, the second among his brethren; and Abda the son of Shammua, the son of Galal, the son of Jeduthun.
11:18 All the Levites in the holy city [were] two hundred and eightyfour.
11:19 Moreover the gatekeepers, Akkub, Talmon, and their brethren who kept the gates, [were] one hundred and seventytwo.
11:20 And the rest of Israel, of the priests [and] Levites, [were] in all the cities of Judah, everyone in his inheritance.
11:21 But the Nethinim dwelt in Ophel. And Ziha and Gishpa [were] over the Nethinim.
11:22 Also the overseer of the Levites at Jerusalem [was] Uzzi the son of Bani, the son of Hashabiah, the son of Mattaniah, the son of Micha, of the sons of Asaph, the singers in charge of the service of the house of God.
11:23 For [it was] the king's command concerning them that a certain portion should be for the singers, a quota day by day.
11:24 Pethahiah the son of Meshezabel, of the children of Zerah the son of Judah, [was] the king's deputy in all matters concerning the people.
11:25 And as for the villages with their fields, [some] of the children of Judah dwelt in Kirjath Arba and its villages, Dibon and its villages, Jekabzeel and its villages;
11:26 in Jeshua, Moladah, Beth Pelet,
11:27 Hazar Shual, and Beersheba and its villages;
11:28 in Ziklag and Meconah and its villages;
11:29 in En Rimmon, Zorah, Jarmuth,
11:30 Zanoah, Adullam, and their villages; in Lachish and its fields; in Azekah and its villages. They dwelt from Beersheba to the Valley of Hinnom.
11:31 Also the children of Benjamin from Geba [dwelt] in Michmash, Aija, and Bethel, and their villages;
11:32 in Anathoth, Nob, Ananiah;
11:33 in Hazor, Ramah, Gittaim;
11:34 in Hadid, Zeboim, Neballat;
11:35 in Lod, Ono, [and] the Valley of Craftsmen.
11:36 Some of the Judean divisions of Levites [were] in Benjamin.
