Sion, kota Allah 48:1 Nyanyian. Mazmur bani Korah. (#48-#2) Besarlah TUHAN dan sangat terpuji di kota Allah kita! 48:2 (#48-#3) Gunung-Nya yang kudus, yang menjulang permai, adalah kegirangan bagi seluruh bumi; gunung Sion itu, jauh di sebelah utara, kota Raja Besar. 48:3 (#48-#4) Dalam puri-purinya Allah memperkenalkan diri-Nya sebagai benteng. 48:4 (#48-#5) Sebab lihat, raja-raja datang berkumpul, mereka bersama-sama berjalan maju; 48:5 (#48-#6) demi mereka melihatnya, mereka tercengang-cengang, terkejut, lalu lari kebingungan. 48:6 (#48-#7) Kegentaran menimpa mereka di sana; mereka kesakitan seperti perempuan yang hendak melahirkan. 48:7 (#48-#8) Dengan angin timur Engkau memecahkan kapal-kapal Tarsis. 48:8 (#48-#9) Seperti yang telah kita dengar, demikianlah juga kita lihat, di kota TUHAN semesta alam, di kota Allah kita; Allah menegakkannya untuk selama-lamanya. Sela 48:9 (#48-#10) Kami mengingat, ya Allah, kasih setia-Mu di dalam bait-Mu. 48:10 (#48-#11) Seperti nama-Mu, ya Allah, demikianlah kemasyhuran-Mu sampai ke ujung bumi; tangan kanan-Mu penuh dengan keadilan. 48:11 (#48-#12) Biarlah gunung Sion bersukacita; biarlah anak-anak perempuan Yehuda bersorak-sorak oleh karena penghukuman-Mu! 48:12 (#48-#13) Kelilingilah Sion dan edarilah dia, hitunglah menaranya, 48:13 (#48-#14) perhatikanlah temboknya, jalanilah puri-purinya, supaya kamu dapat menceriterakannya kepada angkatan yang kemudian: 48:14 (#48-#15) Sesungguhnya inilah Allah, Allah kitalah Dia seterusnya dan untuk selamanya! Dialah yang memimpin kita!

48:1 <> Great [is] the LORD, and greatly to be praised In the city of our God, [In] His holy mountain.
48:2 Beautiful in elevation, The joy of the whole earth, [Is] Mount Zion [on] the sides of the north, The city of the great King.
48:3 God [is] in her palaces; He is known as her refuge.
48:4 For behold, the kings assembled, They passed by together.
48:5 They saw [it, and] so they marveled; They were troubled, they hastened away.
48:6 Fear took hold of them there, [And] pain, as of a woman in birth pangs,
48:7 [As when] You break the ships of Tarshish With an east wind.
48:8 As we have heard, So we have seen In the city of the LORD of hosts, In the city of our God: God will establish it forever. Selah
48:9 We have thought, O God, on Your lovingkindness, In the midst of Your temple.
48:10 According to Your name, O God, So [is] Your praise to the ends of the earth; Your right hand is full of righteousness.
48:11 Let Mount Zion rejoice, Let the daughters of Judah be glad, Because of Your judgments.
48:12 Walk about Zion, And go all around her. Count her towers;
48:13 Mark well her bulwarks; Consider her palaces; That you may tell [it] to the generation following.
48:14 For this [is] God, Our God forever and ever; He will be our guide [Even] to death.
