Para imam dibagi dalam rombongan 24:1 Inilah rombongan-rombongan anak-anak Harun. Anak-anak Harun ialah Nadab, Abihu, Eleazar dan Itamar. 24:2 Tetapi Nadab dan Abihu mati lebih dahulu dari pada ayah mereka dengan tidak mempunyai anak laki-laki, maka yang memegang jabatan imam ialah Eleazar dan Itamar. 24:3 Daud, bersama-sama Zadok dari bani Eleazar dan Ahimelekh dari bani Itamar, membagi-bagi mereka menurut jabatan mereka dalam penyelenggaraan ibadah. 24:4 Lalu ternyata bahwa di antara keturunan Eleazar ada lebih banyak kepala kaum dari pada di antara keturunan Itamar, sebab itu orang membagi-bagi mereka sebagai berikut: untuk bani Eleazar enam belas orang kepala puak, tetapi untuk bani Itamar delapan orang kepala puak. 24:5 Dan orang membagi-bagi mereka dengan membuang undi tanpa mengadakan perbedaan, sebab ada "pemimpin-pemimpin kudus" dan "pemimpin-pemimpin Allah", baik di antara keturunan Eleazar maupun di antara keturunan Itamar. 24:6 Dan Semaya bin Netaneel, panitera itu, seorang Lewi, menulis nama mereka di depan raja, di depan pembesar-pembesar, imam Zadok, Ahimelekh bin Abyatar dan di depan kepala-kepala puak para imam dan orang Lewi; setiap kali satu puak diambil dari Eleazar, dan demikian pula satu puak dari Itamar. 24:7 Undian yang pertama jatuh pada Yoyarib; yang kedua pada Yedaya; 24:8 yang ketiga pada Harim; yang keempat pada Seorim; 24:9 yang kelima pada Malkia; yang keenam pada Miyamin; 24:10 yang ketujuh pada Hakos; yang kedelapan pada Abia; 24:11 yang kesembilan pada Yesua; yang kesepuluh pada Sekhanya; 24:12 yang kesebelas pada Elyasib; yang kedua belas pada Yakim; 24:13 yang ketiga belas pada Hupa; yang keempat belas pada Yesebeab; 24:14 yang kelima belas pada Bilga; yang keenam belas pada Imer; 24:15 yang ketujuh belas pada Hezir; yang kedelapan belas pada Hapizes; 24:16 yang kesembilan belas pada Petahya; yang kedua puluh pada Yehezkel; 24:17 yang kedua puluh satu pada Yakhin; yang kedua puluh dua pada Gamul; 24:18 yang kedua puluh tiga pada Delaya; yang kedua puluh empat pada Maazya. 24:19 Itulah jabatan mereka dalam menyelenggarakan ibadah setelah mereka masuk rumah TUHAN, sesuai dengan peraturan yang diberikan kepada mereka dengan perantaraan Harun, bapa leluhur mereka, seperti yang diperintahkan kepadanya oleh TUHAN, Allah Israel. Puak-puak orang Lewi 24:20 Golongan yang masih tinggal dari bani Lewi, dari anak-anak Amram ialah Subael, dari anak-anak Subael ialah Yehdeya; 24:21 dari anak-anak Rehabya ialah Yisia, seorang kepala; 24:22 dari orang Yizhar ialah Selomot; dari anak-anak Selomot ialah Yahat. 24:23 Anak-anak Hebron ialah Yeria, seorang kepala, Amarya, anak yang kedua, Yahaziel, anak yang ketiga, dan Yekameam, anak yang keempat. 24:24 Anak Uziel ialah Mikha; dari anak-anak Mikha ialah Samir. 24:25 Saudara Mikha ialah Yisia; dari anak-anak Yisia ialah Zakharia. 24:26 Keturunan Merari ialah Mahli dan Musi, juga anak-anak Yaazia, anaknya. 24:27 Keturunan Merari dari pihak Yaazia, anaknya, ialah Syoham, Zakur dan Hibri. 24:28 Dari Mahli ialah Eleazar; dia ini tidak mempunyai anak. 24:29 Dari Kish: anak Kish, yakni Yerahmeel. 24:30 Anak-anak Musi ialah Mahli, Eder dan Yerimot. Itulah bani Lewi menurut puak mereka. 24:31 Mereka inipun, sama seperti saudara-saudara sesuku mereka, anak-anak Harun, membuang undi di depan raja Daud, di depan Zadok, Ahimelekh dan para kepala puak, para imam dan orang Lewi. Dalam hal ini seorang kepala puak sama dengan saudaranya yang terkecil.

24:1 Now [these are] the divisions of the sons of Aaron. The sons of Aaron [were] Nadab, Abihu, Eleazar, and Ithamar.
24:2 And Nadab and Abihu died before their father, and had no children; therefore Eleazar and Ithamar ministered as priests.
24:3 Then David with Zadok of the sons of Eleazar, and Ahimelech of the sons of Ithamar, divided them according to the schedule of their service.
24:4 There were more leaders found of the sons of Eleazar than of the sons of Ithamar, and [thus] they were divided. Among the sons of Eleazar [were] sixteen heads of [their] fathers' houses, and eight heads of their fathers' houses among the sons of Ithamar.
24:5 Thus they were divided by lot, one group as another, for there were officials of the sanctuary and officials [of the house] of God, from the sons of Eleazar and from the sons of Ithamar.
24:6 And the scribe, Shemaiah the son of Nethanel, [one of] the Levites, wrote them down before the king, the leaders, Zadok the priest, Ahimelech the son of Abiathar, and the heads of the fathers' [houses] of the priests and Levites, one father's house taken for Eleazar and [one] for Ithamar.
24:7 Now the first lot fell to Jehoiarib, the second to Jedaiah,
24:8 the third to Harim, the fourth to Seorim,
24:9 the fifth to Malchijah, the sixth to Mijamin,
24:10 the seventh to Hakkoz, the eighth to Abijah,
24:11 the ninth to Jeshua, the tenth to Shecaniah,
24:12 the eleventh to Eliashib, the twelfth to Jakim,
24:13 the thirteenth to Huppah, the fourteenth to Jeshebeab,
24:14 the fifteenth to Bilgah, the sixteenth to Immer,
24:15 the seventeenth to Hezir, the eighteenth to Happizzez,
24:16 the nineteenth to Pethahiah, the twentieth to Jehezekel,
24:17 the twentyfirst to Jachin, the twentysecond to Gamul,
24:18 the twentythird to Delaiah, the twentyfourth to Maaziah.
24:19 This [was] the schedule of their service for coming into the house of the LORD according to their ordinance by the hand of Aaron their father, as the LORD God of Israel had commanded him.
24:20 And the rest of the sons of Levi: of the sons of Amram, Shubael; of the sons of Shubael, Jehdeiah.
24:21 Concerning Rehabiah, of the sons of Rehabiah, the first [was] Isshiah.
24:22 Of the Izharites, Shelomoth; of the sons of Shelomoth, Jahath.
24:23 Of the sons [of Hebron], Jeriah [was the first], Amariah the second, Jahaziel the third, [and] Jekameam the fourth.
24:24 [Of] the sons of Uzziel, Michah; of the sons of Michah, Shamir.
24:25 The brother of Michah, Isshiah; of the sons of Isshiah, Zechariah.
24:26 The sons of Merari [were] Mahli and Mushi; the son of Jaaziah, Beno.
24:27 The sons of Merari by Jaaziah [were] Beno, Shoham, Zaccur, and Ibri.
24:28 Of Mahli: Eleazar, who had no sons.
24:29 Of Kish: the son of Kish, Jerahmeel.
24:30 Also the sons of Mushi [were] Mahli, Eder, and Jerimoth. These [were] the sons of the Levites according to their fathers' houses.
24:31 These also cast lots just as their brothers the sons of Aaron did, in the presence of King David, Zadok, Ahimelech, and the heads of the fathers' [houses] of the priests and Levites. The chief fathers [did] just as their younger brethren.
