Daftar bangsa-bangsa keturunan Sem, Ham dan Yafet 10:1 Inilah keturunan Sem, Ham dan Yafet, anak-anak Nuh. Setelah air bah itu lahirlah anak-anak lelaki bagi mereka. 10:2 Keturunan Yafet ialah Gomer, Magog, Madai, Yawan, Tubal, Mesekh dan Tiras. 10:3 Keturunan Gomer ialah Askenas, Rifat dan Togarma. 10:4 Keturunan Yawan ialah Elisa, Tarsis, orang Kitim dan orang Dodanim. 10:5 Dari mereka inilah berpencar bangsa-bangsa daerah pesisir. Itulah keturunan Yafet, masing-masing di tanahnya, dengan bahasanya sendiri, menurut kaum dan bangsa mereka. 10:6 Keturunan Ham ialah Kush, Misraim, Put dan Kanaan. 10:7 Keturunan Kush ialah Seba, Hawila, Sabta, Raema dan Sabtekha; anak-anak Raema ialah Syeba dan Dedan. 10:8 Kush memperanakkan Nimrod; dialah yang mula-mula sekali orang yang berkuasa di bumi; 10:9 ia seorang pemburu yang gagah perkasa di hadapan TUHAN, sebab itu dikatakan orang: "Seperti Nimrod, seorang pemburu yang gagah perkasa di hadapan TUHAN." 10:10 Mula-mula kerajaannya terdiri dari Babel, Erekh, dan Akad, semuanya di tanah Sinear. 10:11 Dari negeri itu ia pergi ke Asyur, lalu mendirikan Niniwe, Rehobot-Ir, Kalah 10:12 dan Resen di antara Niniwe dan Kalah; itulah kota besar itu. 10:13 Misraim memperanakkan orang Ludim, orang Anamim, orang Lehabim, orang Naftuhim, 10:14 orang Patrusim, orang Kasluhim dan orang Kaftorim; dari mereka inilah berasal orang Filistin. 10:15 Kanaan memperanakkan Sidon, anak sulungnya, dan Het, 10:16 serta orang Yebusi, orang Amori dan orang Girgasi; 10:17 orang Hewi, orang Arki, orang Sini, 10:18 orang Arwadi, orang Semari dan orang Hamati; kemudian berseraklah kaum-kaum orang Kanaan itu. 10:19 Daerah orang Kanaan adalah dari Sidon ke arah Gerar sampai ke Gaza, ke arah Sodom, Gomora, Adma dan Zeboim sampai ke Lasa. 10:20 Itulah keturunan Ham menurut kaum mereka, menurut bahasa mereka, menurut tanah mereka, menurut bangsa mereka. 10:21 Lahirlah juga anak-anak bagi Sem, bapa semua anak Eber serta abang Yafet. 10:22 Keturunan Sem ialah Elam, Asyur, Arpakhsad, Lud dan Aram. 10:23 Keturunan Aram ialah Us, Hul, Geter dan Mas. 10:24 Arpakhsad memperanakkan Selah, dan Selah memperanakkan Eber. 10:25 Bagi Eber lahir dua anak laki-laki; nama yang seorang ialah Peleg, sebab dalam zamannya bumi terbagi, dan nama adiknya ialah Yoktan. 10:26 Yoktan memperanakkan Almodad, Selef, Hazar-Mawet dan Yerah, 10:27 Hadoram, Uzal dan Dikla, 10:28 Obal, Abimael dan Syeba, 10:29 Ofir, Hawila dan Yobab; itulah semuanya keturunan Yoktan. 10:30 Daerah kediaman mereka terbentang dari Mesa ke arah Sefar, yaitu pegunungan di sebelah timur. 10:31 Itulah keturunan Sem, menurut kaum mereka, menurut bahasa mereka, menurut tanah mereka, menurut bangsa mereka. 10:32 Itulah segala kaum anak-anak Nuh menurut keturunan mereka, menurut bangsa mereka. Dan dari mereka itulah berpencar bangsa-bangsa di bumi setelah air bah itu.

Cush became the father of Nimrod. He began to be a mighty one in the earth.

He was a mighty hunter before Yahweh. Therefore it is said, "Like Nimrod, a mighty hunter before Yahweh."

The beginning of his kingdom was Babel, Erech, Accad, and Calneh, in the land of Shinar.

Out of that land he went forth into Assyria, and built Nineveh, Rehoboth Ir, Calah,

and Resen between Nineveh and Calah (the same is the great city).

Mizraim became the father of Ludim, Anamim, Lehabim, Naphtuhim,

Pathrusim, Casluhim (which the Philistines descended from), and Caphtorim.

Canaan became the father of Sidon (his firstborn), Heth,

the Jebusite, the Amorite, the Girgashite,

the Hivite, the Arkite, the Sinite,

the Arvadite, the Zemarite, and the Hamathite. Afterward the families of the Canaanites were spread abroad.

The border of the Canaanites was from Sidon, as you go toward Gerar, to Gaza; as you go toward Sodom, Gomorrah, Admah, and Zeboiim, to Lasha.

These are the sons of Ham, after their families, after their languages, in their lands, in their nations.

To Shem, the father of all the children of Eber, the elder brother of Japheth, to him also were children born.
22

The sons of Shem: Elam, Asshur, Arpachshad, Lud, and Aram.

The sons of Aram: Uz, Hul, Gether, and Mash.

Arpachshad became the father of Shelah. Shelah became the father of Eber.

To Eber were born two sons. The name of the one was Peleg, for in his days the earth was divided. His brother's name was Joktan.

Joktan became the father of Almodad, Sheleph, Hazarmaveth, Jerah,

Hadoram, Uzal, Diklah,

Obal, Abimael, Sheba,

Ophir, Havilah, and Jobab. All these were the sons of Joktan.

Their dwelling was from Mesha, as you go toward Sephar, the mountain of the east.

These are the sons of Shem, after their families, after their languages, in their lands, after their nations.

These are the families of the sons of Noah, after their generations, in their nations. Of these were the nations divided in the earth after the flood.
