Pemimpin-pemimpin Israel dihukum
11:1 Lalu Roh itu mengangkat aku dan membawa aku ke pintu gerbang Timur dari rumah TUHAN, pintu yang menghadap ke sebelah timur. Lihat, di dalam pintu gerbang itu ada dua puluh lima orang dan di antara mereka kulihat Yaazanya bin Azur dan Pelaca bin Benaya, yaitu pemimpin-pemimpin bangsa. 11:2 Firman-Nya kepadaku: "Hai anak manusia, inilah orang-orang yang merancang kedurjanaan dan menaburkan nasihat jahat di kota ini, 11:3 yang mengatakan: Bukankah belum lama berselang rumah-rumah kita dibangun kembali? Kota inilah periuk dan kita dagingnya. 11:4 Oleh sebab itu bernubuatlah melawan mereka, bernubuatlah, hai anak manusia!" 11:5 Maka Roh TUHAN meliputi aku dan TUHAN berfirman kepadaku: "Katakanlah: Beginilah firman TUHAN: Kamu berkata-kata begini, hai kaum Israel, dan Aku tahu apa yang timbul dalam hatimu. 11:6 Orang-orang yang kamu bunuh di kota ini bertambah banyak dan kamu penuhi jalan-jalannya dengan mereka. 11:7 Oleh sebab itu beginilah firman Tuhan ALLAH: Orang-orang yang kamu bunuh di kota ini, merekalah dagingnya dan kota inilah periuk, tetapi kamu akan Kugiring keluar dari dalamnya. 11:8 Kamu takut kepada pedang, tetapi Aku akan mendatangkan pedang atasmu, demikianlah firman Tuhan ALLAH. 11:9 Aku akan menggiring kamu keluar dari dalamnya dan menyerahkan kamu di tangan orang-orang asing dan menjatuhkan hukuman-hukuman kepadamu. 11:10 Kamu akan berebahan karena pedang dan di tanah Israel Aku akan menghukum kamu; dan kamu akan mengetahui, bahwa Akulah TUHAN. 11:11 Kota ini tidak akan menjadi periuk bagimu ataupun kamu seakan-akan daging di dalamnya; di tanah Israel Aku akan menghukum kamu. 11:12 Dan kamu akan mengetahui, bahwa Akulah TUHAN, karena kelakuanmu tidak selaras dengan ketetapan-ketetapan-Ku dan peraturan-peraturan-Ku tidak kamu lakukan; bahkan engkau melakukan peraturan-peraturan bangsa-bangsa yang di sekitarmu." 11:13 Maka sedang aku bernubuat, matilah Pelaca bin Benaya. Lalu aku sujud dan berseru dengan suara nyaring, kataku: "Aduh, Tuhan ALLAH, apakah Engkau menghabiskan sisa Israel?" Janji tentang pembaharuan Israel 11:14 Kemudian datanglah firman TUHAN kepadaku: 11:15 "Hai anak manusia, penduduk-penduduk Yerusalem berkata tentang semua saudara-saudaramu, tentang kaum kerabatmu dan segenap kaum Israel dalam keseluruhannya: Mereka telah jauh dari TUHAN, kepada kami tanah ini diberikan menjadi milik. 11:16 Oleh sebab itu katakanlah: Beginilah firman Tuhan ALLAH: Walaupun Aku membawa mereka jauh-jauh di antara bangsa-bangsa dan menyerakkan mereka di negeri-negeri itu dan Aku menjadi tempat kudus yang sedikit artinya bagi mereka di negeri-negeri di mana mereka datang, 11:17 oleh sebab itu katakanlah: Beginilah firman Tuhan ALLAH: Aku akan menghimpunkan kamu dari bangsa-bangsa dan mengumpulkan kamu dari negeri-negeri di mana kamu berserak, dan Aku akan memberikan kamu tanah Israel. 11:18 Maka sesudah mereka datang di sana, mereka akan menjauhkan segala dewa-dewanya yang menjijikkan dan segala perbuatan-perbuatan yang keji dari tanah itu. 11:19 Aku akan memberikan mereka hati yang lain dan roh yang baru di dalam batin mereka; juga Aku akan menjauhkan dari tubuh mereka hati yang keras dan memberikan mereka hati yang taat, 11:20 supaya mereka hidup menurut segala ketetapan-Ku dan peraturan-peraturan-Ku dengan setia; maka mereka akan menjadi umat-Ku dan Aku akan menjadi Allah mereka. 11:21 Mengenai mereka, yang hatinya berpaut pada dewa-dewanya yang menjijikkan dan pada perbuatan-perbuatannya yang keji, Aku akan menimpakan kelakuan mereka atas kepalanya sendiri, demikianlah firman Tuhan ALLAH." 11:22 Maka kerub-kerub itu mengangkat sayap mereka, dan roda-rodanya bergerak bersama-sama dengan mereka, sedang kemuliaan Allah Israel berada di atas mereka. 11:23 Lalu kemuliaan TUHAN naik ke atas dari tengah-tengah kota dan hinggap di atas gunung yang di sebelah timur kota. 11:24 Dan Roh itu mengangkat aku dan membawa aku kembali di dalam penglihatan yang dari Roh Allah ke negeri Kasdim kepada para buangan. Lalu menghilanglah penglihatan yang kulihat itu dari padaku 11:25 dan aku sampaikan kepada para buangan itu segala sesuatu yang diperlihatkan TUHAN kepadaku.

11:1 Then the Spirit lifted me up and brought me to the East Gate of the LORD'S house, which faces eastward; and there at the door of the gate were twentyfive men, among whom I saw Jaazaniah the son of Azzur, and Pelatiah the son of Benaiah, princes of the people.
11:2 And He said to me: "Son of man, these [are] the men who devise iniquity and give wicked counsel in this city,
11:3 "who say, `[The time is] not near to build houses; this [city is] the caldron, and we [are] the meat.'
11:4 "Therefore prophesy against them, prophesy, O son of man!"
11:5 Then the Spirit of the LORD fell upon me, and said to me, "Speak! `Thus says the LORD: "Thus you have said, O house of Israel; for I know the things that come into your mind.
11:6 "You have multiplied your slain in this city, and you have filled its streets with the slain."
11:7 `Therefore thus says the Lord GOD: "Your slain whom you have laid in its midst, they [are] the meat, and this [city is] the caldron; but I shall bring you out of the midst of it.
11:8 "You have feared the sword; and I will bring a sword upon you," says the Lord GOD.
11:9 "And I will bring you out of its midst, and deliver you into the hands of strangers, and execute judgments on you.
11:10 "You shall fall by the sword. I will judge you at the border of Israel. Then you shall know that I [am] the LORD.
11:11 "This [city] shall not be your caldron, nor shall you be the meat in its midst. I will judge you at the border of Israel.
11:12 "And you shall know that I [am] the LORD; for you have not walked in My statutes nor executed My judgments, but have done according to the customs of the Gentiles which [are] all around you."'"
11:13 Now it happened, while I was prophesying, that Pelatiah the son of Benaiah died. Then I fell on my face and cried with a loud voice, and said, "Ah, Lord GOD! Will You make a complete end of the remnant of Israel?"
11:14 Again the word of the LORD came to me, saying,
11:15 "Son of man, your brethren, your relatives, your countrymen, and all the house of Israel in its entirety, [are] those about whom the inhabitants of Jerusalem have said, `Get far away from the LORD; this land has been given to us as a possession.'
11:16 "Therefore say, `Thus says the Lord GOD: "Although I have cast them far off among the Gentiles, and although I have scattered them among the countries, yet I shall be a little sanctuary for them in the countries where they have gone."'
11:17 "Therefore say, `Thus says the Lord GOD: "I will gather you from the peoples, assemble you from the countries where you have been scattered, and I will give you the land of Israel."'
11:18 "And they will go there, and they will take away all its detestable things and all its abominations from there.
11:19 "Then I will give them one heart, and I will put a new spirit within them, and take the stony heart out of their flesh, and give them a heart of flesh,
11:20 "that they may walk in My statutes and keep My judgments and do them; and they shall be My people, and I will be their God.
11:21 "But [as for those] whose hearts follow the desire for their detestable things and their abominations, I will recompense their deeds on their own heads," says the Lord GOD.
11:22 So the cherubim lifted up their wings, with the wheels beside them, and the glory of the God of Israel [was] high above them.
11:23 And the glory of the LORD went up from the midst of the city and stood on the mountain, which [is] on the east side of the city.
11:24 Then the Spirit took me up and brought me in a vision by the Spirit of God into Chaldea, to those in captivity. And the vision that I had seen went up from me.
11:25 So I spoke to those in captivity of all the things the LORD had shown me.
