Paulus pe salam

1Ni surat dari kita, Paulus. Tuhan Allah so pangge pa kita jadi rasul tu Kristus Yesus pe utusan iko Dia pe mau. Ni surat lei dari Sostenes tu torang pe sudara yang percaya.
2 Surat ini for ngoni tu Tuhan Allah pe jemaat yang ada di Korintus. Ngoni so percaya pa Kristus Yesus, Dia so beking ngoni jadi kudus. Tuhan Allah so pangge pa ngoni for jadi Dia pe orang-orang sama-sama deng samua orang percaya di samua tampa. Ngoni samua itu yang ja semba pa Yesus Kristus tu torang samua pe Tuhan yang torang samua ja iko akang.
3Kita minta pa torang pe Allah Bapa deng Tuhan Yesus Kristus for kase tunjung tu bae pa ngoni deng beking ngoni hidop deng hati tenang.
Tuhan se tunjung Dia pe bae pa orang-orang Korintus
4Kita slalu bilang makase pa Tuhan Allah yang kita ja semba lantaran ngoni. Orang percaya musti jadi satu
10Sudara-sudara, kita se nasehat pa ngoni atas nama torang pe Tuhan Yesus Kristus, supaya ngoni samua satu pendapat, nimbole tapisa-pisa, malatare ngoni musti tetap satu pikiran deng satu tujuan. 11Kita bilang bagitu pa ngoni sudara-sudara, lantaran ada orang-orang dari Kloe pe ruma tu da kase tau pa kita tentang ngoni. Dorang bilang kalu di antara pa ngoni ada tu da baku ambe pendapat. 12Tu kita pe maksut bagini: ada dari pa ngoni yang da babilang, “Kita ja iko pa Paulus.” Ada yang laeng babilang, “Kita ja iko pa Apolos.” Tu laeng lei babilang, “Kita ja iko pa Petrus.” Kong ada lei yang babilang, “Kita ja iko pa Kristus.”
13No kalu ngoni bicara bagitu, itu sama jo deng Kristus da taberbage, butul to? Padahal sebenarnya nyanda. Deng lei tentang kita ini Paulus, apa kita da mati di kayu salib for ngoni? Nyanda to? Kristus itu yang se tunjung tu Tuhan Allah pe kuasa deng hikmat
18Ada yang bapikir kalu tu brita tentang Yesus da mati di kayu salib, itu brita yang nyanda ada de pe arti apa-apa. Dorang itu no tu mo binasa. Mar for torang yang dapa slamat, torang tau kalu lewat tu brita tentang Yesus itu, Tuhan Allah se tunjung tu Dia pe kuasa lantaran kalu orang percaya tu brita itu, dia pasti mo slamat. 19Soalnya di Kitab Suci da tulis bagini,
“Pa tu orang yang tau banya hal,
Kita mo se ilang apa yang dia tau itu.
Kong pa tu orang yang pande,
Kita mo beking tu dia pe pande itu so nyanda ada lei.”
20No bagimana skarang deng tu orang yang tau banya hal? Bagimana deng ahli-ahli Taurat deng lei tu orang-orang yang pande baku ambe pendapat di jaman skarang ini? Samua yang dorang tau itu pengetahuan yang dari ni dunia, kong Tuhan Allah so beking tu samua itu jadi nyanda ada arti apa-apa. 21Soalnya biar bagimana lei manusia pe hikmat, manusia nyanda mampu mo kanal pa Tuhan Allah cuma pake tu dong pe hikmat sandiri. Kong memang Tuhan Allah yang so putuskan bagitu, lantaran Tuhan Allah itu tau samua hal. Yang Dia suka itu, se slamat pa manusia yang percaya deng tu brita tentang Yesus yang torang da se tau, biar lei orang-orang di dunia ja anggap kalu tu brita tentang Yesus itu nyanda ada de pe guna. 22Biasanya orang-orang Yahudi minta se tunjung tanda-tanda ajaib lebe dulu, deng lei biasanya tu orang-orang Yunani cari tau pake manusia pe hikmat. 23Mar torang, torang ja se tau tentang Kristus yang mati di kayu salib. Tu brita itu for orang-orang Yahudi, itu sama deng jadi batu sandungan for dorang. Kong for tu orang-orang yang bukang Yahudi, dorang anggap tu brita itu nyanda ada de pe arti. 24Mar tu orang-orang yang Tuhan da pangge for iko pa Dia, dorang itu orang-orang Yahudi deng lei tu orang-orang yang bukang Yahudi. Kong for dorang samua itu, Kristus itu no yang se tunjung tu Tuhan Allah pe kuasa deng Tuhan Allah pe hikmat. 25Biar manusia pikir yang Tuhan da beking itu nyanda ada de pe guna, mar tu Tuhan Allah da beking itu jao lebe basar de pe hikmat dari apa yang manusia pikir itu. Kong biar lei manusia pikir kalu tu Tuhan Allah da beking itu nyanda ada kuasa, mar tu Dia da beking itu lebe basar de pe kuasa dari yang manusia bole beking.
26Sudara-sudara, co ngoni inga bagimana tu ngoni pe keadaan waktu Tuhan da pangge pa ngoni iko pa Dia. Waktu itu, menurut orang-orang di dunia ini, cuma sadiki tu dari pa ngoni yang ada hikmat, cuma sadiki tu ada posisi penting deng lei cuma sadiki tu dari kluarga penting. 27Mar apa tu dunia ja anggap nyanda ada de pe guna, itu yang Tuhan Allah pili for beking malo tu orang-orang yang dunia ja anggap ada hikmat. Kong apa tu dunia ja anggap nyanda berkuasa, itu yang Tuhan Allah pake for beking malo tu orang-orang yang dunia ja anggap berkuasa. 28Tuhan Allah lei pili tu orang-orang yang dunia ja anggap nyanda penting, hina deng lei nyanda ada guna. Dia pili pa dorang for beking tu orang-orang yang dunia ja anggap penting mo jadi nyanda ada arti apa-apa. 29Tuhan beking bagitu supaya nyanda ada manusia yang mo basombong de pe diri di muka pa Tuhan Allah. 30Soalnya Tuhan Allah yang da buka jalang supaya torang bole hidop satu deng Kristus Yesus. Torang bole tau tu Tuhan Allah pe hikmat lewat Kristus Yesus. Yesus itu yang beking torang jadi butul di muka pa Tuhan Allah, Yesus beking torang ini jadi Tuhan Allah pe orang-orang, kong Yesus lei yang tubus tu torang pe dosa. 31So lantaran itu, torang musti beking sama deng tu da tulis di Kitab Suci, “Sapa jo yang mo basombong, lebe bae dia basombong tentang apa yang Tuhan da beking for dia.”  
1:1 Paul, called [to be] an apostle of Jesus Christ through the will of God, and Sosthenes [our] brother,
1:2 To the church of God which is at Corinth, to those who are sanctified in Christ Jesus, called [to be] saints, with all who in every place call on the name of Jesus Christ our Lord, both theirs and ours:
1:3 Grace to you and peace from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ.
1:4 I thank my God always concerning you for the grace of God which was given to you by Christ Jesus,
1:5 that you were enriched in everything by Him in all utterance and all knowledge,
1:6 even as the testimony of Christ was confirmed in you,
1:7 so that you come short in no gift, eagerly waiting for the revelation of our Lord Jesus Christ,
1:8 who will also confirm you to the end, [that you may be] blameless in the day of our Lord Jesus Christ.
1:9 God [is] faithful, by whom you were called into the fellowship of His Son, Jesus Christ our Lord.
1:10 Now I plead with you, brethren, by the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that you all speak the same thing, and [that] there be no divisions among you, but [that] you be perfectly joined together in the same mind and in the same judgment.
1:11 For it has been declared to me concerning you, my brethren, by those of Chloe's [household], that there are contentions among you.
1:12 Now I say this, that each of you says, "I am of Paul," or "I am of Apollos," or "I am of Cephas," or "I am of Christ."
1:13 Is Christ divided? Was Paul crucified for you? Or were you baptized in the name of Paul?
1:14 I thank God that I baptized none of you except Crispus and Gaius,
1:15 lest anyone should say that I had baptized in my own name.
1:16 Yes, I also baptized the household of Stephanas. Besides, I do not know whether I baptized any other.
1:17 For Christ did not send me to baptize, but to preach the gospel, not with wisdom of words, lest the cross of Christ should be made of no effect.
1:18 For the message of the cross is foolishness to those who are perishing, but to us who are being saved it is the power of God.
1:19 For it is written: "I will destroy the wisdom of the wise, And bring to nothing the understanding of the prudent."
1:20 Where [is] the wise? Where [is] the scribe? Where [is] the disputer of this age? Has not God made foolish the wisdom of this world?
1:21 For since, in the wisdom of God, the world through wisdom did not know God, it pleased God through the foolishness of the message preached to save those who believe.
1:22 For Jews request a sign, and Greeks seek after wisdom;
1:23 but we preach Christ crucified, to the Jews a stumbling block and to the Greeks foolishness,
1:24 but to those who are called, both Jews and Greeks, Christ the power of God and the wisdom of God.
1:25 Because the foolishness of God is wiser than men, and the weakness of God is stronger than men.
1:26 For you see your calling, brethren, that not many wise according to the flesh, not many mighty, not many noble, [are called].
1:27 But God has chosen the foolish things of the world to put to shame the wise, and God has chosen the weak things of the world to put to shame the things which are mighty;
1:28 and the base things of the world and the things which are despised God has chosen, and the things which are not, to bring to nothing the things that are,
1:29 that no flesh should glory in His presence.
1:30 But of Him you are in Christ Jesus, who became for us wisdom from Godand righteousness and sanctification and redemption
1:31 that, as it is written, "He who glories, let him glory in the LORD."
