Psalms 104

Kebesaran TUHAN dalam segala ciptaan-Nya
104:1 Pujilah TUHAN, hai jiwaku! TUHAN, Allahku, Engkau sangat besar! Engkau yang berpakaian keagungan dan semarak,
104:2 yang berselimutkan terang seperti kain, yang membentangkan langit seperti tenda,
104:3 yang mendirikan kamar-kamar loteng-Mu di air, yang menjadikan awan-awan sebagai kendaraan-Mu, yang bergerak di atas sayap angin,
104:4 yang membuat angin sebagai suruhan-suruhan-Mu, dan api yang menyala sebagai pelayan-pelayan-Mu,
104:5 yang telah mendasarkan bumi di atas tumpuannya, sehingga takkan goyang untuk seterusnya dan selamanya. 104:6 Dengan samudera raya Engkau telah menyelubunginya; air telah naik melampaui gunung-gunung.
104:7 Terhadap hardik-Mu air itu melarikan diri, lari kebingungan terhadap suara guntur-Mu,
104:8 naik gunung, turun lembah ke tempat yang Kautetapkan bagi mereka.
104:9 Batas Kautentukan, takkan mereka lewati, takkan kembali mereka menyelubungi bumi.
104:10 Engkau yang melepas mata-mata air ke dalam lembah-lembah, mengalir di antara gunung-gunung, 104:11 memberi minum segala binatang di padang, memuaskan haus keledai-keledai hutan; 104:12 di dekatnya diam burung-burung di udara, bersiul dari antara daun-daunan. 104:13 Engkau yang memberi minum gunung-gunung dari kamar-kamar loteng-Mu, bumi kenyang dari buah pekerjaan-Mu. 104:14 Engkau yang menumbuhkan rumput bagi hewan dan tumbuh-tumbuhan untuk diusahakan manusia, yang mengeluarkan makanan dari dalam tanah
104:15 dan anggur yang menyukakan hati manusia, yang membuat muka berseri karena minyak, dan makanan yang menyegarkan hati manusia. 104:16 Kenyang pohon-pohon TUHAN, pohon-pohon aras di Libanon yang ditanam-Nya, 104:17 di mana burung-burung bersarang, burung ranggung yang rumahnya di pohon-pohon sanobar; 104:18 gunung-gunung tinggi adalah bagi kambing-kambing hutan, bukit-bukit batu adalah tempat perlindungan bagi pelanduk.
104:19 Engkau yang telah membuat bulan menjadi penentu waktu, matahari yang tahu akan saat terbenamnya. 104:20 Apabila Engkau mendatangkan gelap, maka haripun malamlah; ketika itulah bergerak segala binatang hutan. 104:21 Singa-singa muda mengaum-aum akan mangsa, dan menuntut makanannya dari Allah. 104:22 Apabila matahari terbit, berkumpullah semuanya dan berbaring di tempat perteduhannya; 104:23 manusiapun keluarlah ke pekerjaannya, dan ke usahanya sampai petang. 104:24 Betapa banyak perbuatan-Mu, ya TUHAN, sekaliannya Kaujadikan dengan kebijaksanaan, bumi penuh dengan ciptaan-Mu. 104:25 Lihatlah laut itu, besar dan luas wilayahnya, di situ bergerak, tidak terbilang banyaknya, binatang-binatang yang kecil dan besar. 104:26 Di situ kapal-kapal berlayar dan Lewiatan yang telah Kaubentuk untuk bermain dengannya. 104:27 Semuanya menantikan Engkau, supaya diberikan makanan pada waktunya.
104:28 Apabila Engkau memberikannya, mereka memungutnya; apabila Engkau membuka tangan-Mu, mereka kenyang oleh kebaikan. 104:29 Apabila Engkau menyembunyikan wajah-Mu, mereka terkejut; apabila Engkau mengambil roh mereka, mereka mati binasa dan kembali menjadi debu. 104:30 Apabila Engkau mengirim roh-Mu, mereka tercipta, dan Engkau membaharui muka bumi. 104:31 Biarlah kemuliaan TUHAN tetap untuk selama-lamanya, biarlah TUHAN bersukacita karena perbuatan-perbuatan-Nya! 104:32 Dia yang memandang bumi sehingga bergentar, yang menyentuh gunung-gunung sehingga berasap. 104:33 Aku hendak menyanyi bagi TUHAN selama aku hidup, aku hendak bermazmur bagi Allahku selagi aku ada. 104:34 Biarlah renunganku manis kedengaran kepada-Nya! Aku hendak bersukacita karena TUHAN.
104:35 Biarlah habis orang-orang berdosa dari bumi, dan biarlah orang-orang fasik tidak ada lagi! Pujilah TUHAN, hai jiwaku! Haleluya!

104:1 Bless the LORD, O my soul! O LORD my God, You are very great: You are clothed with honor and majesty,
104:2 Who cover [Yourself] with light as [with] a garment, Who stretch out the heavens like a curtain.
104:3 He lays the beams of His upper chambers in the waters, Who makes the clouds His chariot, Who walks on the wings of the wind,
104:4 Who makes His angels spirits, His ministers a flame of fire.
104:5 [You who] laid the foundations of the earth, So [that] it should not be moved forever,
104:6 You covered it with the deep as [with] a garment; The waters stood above the mountains.
104:7 At Your rebuke they fled; At the voice of Your thunder they hastened away.
104:8 They went up over the mountains; They went down into the valleys, To the place which You founded for them.
104:9 You have set a boundary that they may not pass over, That they may not return to cover the earth.
104:10 He sends the springs into the valleys, They flow among the hills.
104:11 They give drink to every beast of the field; The wild donkeys quench their thirst.
104:12 By them the birds of the heavens have their home; They sing among the branches.
104:13 He waters the hills from His upper chambers; The earth is satisfied with the fruit of Your works.
104:14 He causes the grass to grow for the cattle, And vegetation for the service of man, That he may bring forth food from the earth,
104:15 And wine [that] makes glad the heart of man, Oil to make [his] face shine, And bread [which] strengthens man's heart.
104:16 The trees of the LORD are full [of sap], The cedars of Lebanon which He planted,
104:17 Where the birds make their nests; The stork has her home in the fir trees.
104:18 The high hills [are] for the wild goats; The cliffs are a refuge for the rock badgers.
104:19 He appointed the moon for seasons; The sun knows its going down.
104:20 You make darkness, and it is night, In which all the beasts of the forest creep about.
104:21 The young lions roar after their prey, And seek their food from God.
104:22 [When] the sun rises, they gather together And lie down in their dens.
104:23 Man goes out to his work And to his labor until the evening.
104:24 O LORD, how manifold are Your works! In wisdom You have made them all. The earth is full of Your possessions
104:25 This great and wide sea, In which [are] innumerable teeming things, Living things both small and great.
104:26 There the ships sail about; [There is] that Leviathan Which You have made to play there.
104:27 These all wait for You, That You may give [them] their food in due season.
104:28 [What] You give them they gather in; You open Your hand, they are filled with good.
104:29 You hide Your face, they are troubled; You take away their breath, they die and return to their dust.
104:30 You send forth Your Spirit, they are created; And You renew the face of the earth.
104:31 May the glory of the LORD endure forever; May the LORD rejoice in His works.
104:32 He looks on the earth, and it trembles; He touches the hills, and they smoke.
104:33 I will sing to the LORD as long as I live; I will sing praise to my God while I have my being.
104:34 May my meditation be sweet to Him; I will be glad in the LORD.
104:35 May sinners be consumed from the earth, And the wicked be no more. Bless the LORD, O my soul! Praise the LORD!
