Batas-batas daerah Yehuda
15:1 Bagian yang diundikan kepada suku bani Yehuda menurut kaum-kaum mereka adalah sampai ke batas tanah Edom, sampai ke padang gurun Zin ke selatan, di ujung selatan. 15:2 Batas selatan bagi mereka mulai dari ujung Laut Asin, dari teluk yang menghadap ke selatan; 15:3 lalu keluar pada sebelah selatan pendakian Akrabim, terus ke Zin, naik ke sebelah selatan Kadesh-Barnea, terus ke Hezron, naik ke Adar, membelok ke Karka, 15:4 terus ke Azmon dan keluar pada sungai tanah Mesir, sehingga batas itu berakhir ke laut. Itulah bagi kamu batas selatan. 15:5 Batas timur ialah Laut Asin sampai ke muara sungai Yordan. Batas pada sisi utara mulai dari teluk di muara sungai Yordan itu: 15:6 batas itu naik ke Bet-Hogla, melalui sebelah utara Bet-Araba, kemudian batas itu naik ke batu Bohan bin Ruben; 15:7 lalu dari lembah Akhor batas itu naik ke Debir, dan menuju ke utara ke Gilgal di seberang pendakian Adumim, yang di sebelah selatan sungai. Kemudian batas itu terus ke mata air En-Semes dan keluar ke En-Rogel. 15:8 Kemudian batas itu naik ke lembah Ben-Hinom, di sebelah selatan sepanjang lereng gunung Yebus, itulah Yerusalem; kemudian batas itu naik ke puncak gunung yang di seberang lembah Hinom, di sebelah barat, di ujung utara lembah orang Refaim. 15:9 Kemudian batas itu melengkung dari puncak gunung itu ke mata air Me-Neftoah, lalu keluar ke kota-kota pegunungan Efron; selanjutnya batas itu melengkung ke Baala, itulah Kiryat-Yearim. 15:10 Kemudian batas itu membelok dari Baala ke barat ke pegunungan Seir, terus ke utara ke lereng gunung Yearim, itulah Kesalon, turun ke Bet-Semes dan terus ke Timna. 15:11 Kemudian batas itu keluar ke utara ke lereng gunung Ekron; kemudian batas itu melengkung ke Sikron, terus ke gunung Baala dan keluar dekat Yabneel, sehingga batas itu berakhir di laut. 15:12 Batas barat ialah Laut Besar dan pantainya. Itulah, ke segala penjuru, batas-batas daerah bani Yehuda menurut kaum-kaum mereka. Kaleb merebut Hebron 15:13 Tetapi kepada Kaleb bin Yefune diberikan Yosua sebagian di tengah-tengah bani Yehuda itu, yakni Kiryat-Arba, seperti yang dititahkan TUHAN kepadanya; Arba ialah bapa Enak. Itulah Hebron. 15:14 Dan Kaleb menghalau dari sana ketiga orang Enak, yakni Sesai, Ahiman dan Talmai, anak-anak Enak. 15:15 Dari sana ia maju menyerang penduduk Debir. Nama Debir itu dahulu ialah Kiryat-Sefer. 15:16 Lalu berkatalah Kaleb: "Siapa yang menggempur Kiryat-Sefer dan merebutnya, kepadanya akan kuberikan Akhsa, anakku, menjadi isterinya." 15:17 Dan Otniel, anak Kenas saudara Kaleb, merebut kota itu; lalu Kaleb memberikan kepadanya Akhsa, anaknya, menjadi isterinya. 15:18 Ketika perempuan itu tiba, dibujuknya suaminya untuk meminta ladang kepada ayahnya. Maka turunlah perempuan itu dari keledainya, lalu berkatalah Kaleb kepadanya: "Ada apa?" 15:19 Jawabnya: "Berikanlah kepadaku hadiah; telah kauberikan kepadaku tanah yang gersang, berikanlah juga kepadaku mata air." Lalu diberikannyalah kepadanya mata air yang di hulu dan mata air yang di hilir. Kota-kota suku Yehuda 15:20 Inilah milik pusaka suku bani Yehuda menurut kaum-kaum mereka. 15:21 Kota-kota suku bani Yehuda yang paling ujung, dekat batas tanah Edom di Tanah Negeb, ialah Kabzeel, Eder, Yagur, 15:22 Kina, Dimona, Adada, 15:23 Kedesh, Hazor, Yitnan, 15:24 Zif, Telem, Bealot, 15:25 Hazor-Hadata, Keriot-Hezron, itulah Hazor; 15:26 Amam, Sema, Molada, 15:27 Hazar-Gada, Hesmon, Bet-Pelet, 15:28 Hazar-Sual, Bersyeba dan segala anak kotanya, 15:29 Baala, Iyim, Ezem, 15:30 Eltolad, Kesil, Horma, 15:31 Ziklag, Madmana, Sansana, 15:32 Lebaot, Silhim, Ain dan Rimon; seluruhnya dua puluh sembilan kota dengan desa-desanya. 15:33 Di Daerah Bukit: Esytaol, Zora, Asna, 15:34 Zanoah, En-Ganim, Tapuah, Enam, 15:35 Yarmut, Adulam, Sokho, Azeka, 15:36 Saaraim, Aditaim, Gedera dan Gederotaim; empat belas kota dengan desa-desanya. 15:37 Zenan, Hadasa, Migdal-Gad, 15:38 Dilean, Mizpa, Yokteel, 15:39 Lakhis, Bozkat, Eglon, 15:40 Kabon, Lahmas, Kitlis, 15:41 Gederot, Bet-Dagon, Naama dan Makeda; enam belas kota dengan desa-desanya. 15:42 Libna, Eter, Asan, 15:43 Yiftah, Asna, Nezib, 15:44 Kehila, Akhzib dan Maresa; sembilan kota dengan desa-desanya. 15:45 Ekron dengan segala anak kota dan desanya. 15:46 Mulai dari Ekron sampai ke laut, segala yang di sisi Asdod dan desa-desanya, 15:47 Asdod dengan segala anak kota dan desa-desanya, Gaza dengan segala anak kota dan desa-desanya, sampai ke sungai tanah Mesir, Laut Besar dan pantainya. 15:48 Lagi di Pegunungan: Samir, Yatir, Sokho, 15:49 Dana, Kiryat-Sana, itulah Debir; 15:50 Anab, Estemo, Anim, 15:51 Gosyen, Holon dan Gilo; sebelas kota dengan desa-desanya; 15:52 Arab, Duma, Esan, 15:53 Yanum, Bet-Tapuah, Afeka, 15:54 Humta, Kiryat-Arba, itulah Hebron, dan Zior; sembilan kota dengan desa-desanya. 15:55 Maon, Karmel, Zif, Yuta, 15:56 Yizreel, Yokdeam, Zanoah, 15:57 Kain, Gibea dan Timna; sepuluh kota dengan desa-desanya. 15:58 Halhul, Bet-Zur, Gedor, 15:59 Maarat, Bet-Anot dan Eltekon; enam kota dengan desa-desanya. 15:60 Kiryat-Baal, itulah Kiryat-Yearim, dan Raba; dua kota dengan desa-desanya. 15:61 Di padang gurun: Bet-Araba, Midin, Sekhakha, 15:62 Nibsan, Kota Garam dan En-Gedi; enam kota dengan desa-desanya. 15:63 Tetapi orang Yebus, penduduk kota Yerusalem, tidak dapat dihalau oleh bani Yehuda. Jadi orang Yebus itu masih tetap diam bersama-sama dengan bani Yehuda di Yerusalem sampai sekarang.

15:1 So [this] was the lot of the tribe of the children of Judah according to their families: The border of Edom at the Wilderness of Zin southward [was] the extreme southern boundary.
15:2 And their southern border began at the shore of the Salt Sea, from the bay that faces southward.
15:3 Then it went out to the southern side of the Ascent of Akrabbim, passed along to Zin, ascended on the south side of Kadesh Barnea, passed along to Hezron, went up to Adar, and went around to Karkaa.
15:4 [From there] it passed toward Azmon and went out to the Brook of Egypt; and the border ended at the sea. This shall be your southern border.
15:5 The east border [was] the Salt Sea as far as the mouth of the Jordan. And the border on the northern quarter [began] at the bay of the sea at the mouth of the Jordan.
15:6 The border went up to Beth Hoglah and passed north of Beth Arabah; and the border went up to the stone of Bohan the son of Reuben.
15:7 Then the border went up toward Debir from the Valley of Achor, and it turned northward toward Gilgal, which [is] before the Ascent of Adummim, which [is] on the south side of the valley. The border continued toward the waters of En Shemesh and ended at En Rogel.
15:8 And the border went up by the Valley of the Son of Hinnom to the southern slope of the Jebusite [city] (which [is] Jerusalem). The border went up to the top of the mountain that [lies] before the Valley of Hinnom westward, which [is] at the end of the Valley of Rephaim northward.
15:9 Then the border went around from the top of the hill to the fountain of the water of Nephtoah, and extended to the cities of Mount Ephron. And the border went around to Baalah (which [is] Kirjath Jearim).
15:10 Then the border turned westward from Baalah to Mount Seir, passed along to the side of Mount Jearim on the north (which [is] Chesalon), went down to Beth Shemesh, and passed on to Timnah.
15:11 And the border went out to the side of Ekron northward. Then the border went around to Shicron, passed along to Mount Baalah, and extended to Jabneel; and the border ended at the sea.
15:12 The west border [was] the coastline of the Great Sea. This [is] the boundary of the children of Judah all around according to their families.
15:13 Now to Caleb the son of Jephunneh he gave a share among the children of Judah, according to the commandment of the LORD to Joshua, [namely], Kirjath Arba, which [is] Hebron ([Arba was] the father of Anak).
15:14 Caleb drove out the three sons of Anak from there: Sheshai, Ahiman, and Talmai, the children of Anak.
15:15 Then he went up from there to the inhabitants of Debir (formerly the name of Debir [was] Kirjath Sepher).
15:16 And Caleb said, "He who attacks Kirjath Sepher and takes it, to him I will give Achsah my daughter as wife."
15:17 So Othniel the son of Kenaz, the brother of Caleb, took it; and he gave him Achsah his daughter as wife.
15:18 Now it was so, when she came [to him], that she persuaded him to ask her father for a field. So she dismounted from [her] donkey, and Caleb said to her, "What do you wish?"
15:19 She answered, "Give me a blessing; since you have given me land in the South, give me also springs of water." So he gave her the upper springs and the lower springs.
15:20 This [was] the inheritance of the tribe of the children of Judah according to their families:
15:21 The cities at the limits of the tribe of the children of Judah, toward the border of Edom in the South, were Kabzeel, Eder, Jagur,
15:22 Kinah, Dimonah, Adadah,
15:23 Kedesh, Hazor, Ithnan,
15:24 Ziph, Telem, Bealoth,
15:25 Hazor, Hadattah, Kerioth, Hezron (which [is] Hazor),
15:26 Amam, Shema, Moladah,
15:27 Hazar Gaddah, Heshmon, Beth Pelet,
15:28 Hazar Shual, Beersheba, Bizjothjah,
15:29 Baalah, Ijim, Ezem,
15:30 Eltolad, Chesil, Hormah,
15:31 Ziklag, Madmannah, Sansannah,
15:32 Lebaoth, Shilhim, Ain, and Rimmon: all the cities [are] twentynine, with their villages.
15:33 In the lowland: Eshtaol, Zorah, Ashnah,
15:34 Zanoah, En Gannim, Tappuah, Enam,
15:35 Jarmuth, Adullam, Socoh, Azekah,
15:36 Sharaim, Adithaim, Gederah, and Gederothaim: fourteen cities with their villages;
15:37 Zenan, Hadashah, Migdal Gad,
15:38 Dilean, Mizpah, Joktheel,
15:39 Lachish, Bozkath, Eglon,
15:40 Cabbon, Lahmas, Kithlish,
15:41 Gederoth, Beth Dagon, Naamah, and Makkedah: sixteen cities with their villages;
15:42 Libnah, Ether, Ashan,
15:43 Jiphtah, Ashnah, Nezib,
15:44 Keilah, Achzib, and Mareshah: nine cities with their villages;
15:45 Ekron, with its towns and villages;
15:46 from Ekron to the sea, all that [lay] near Ashdod, with their villages;
15:47 Ashdod with its towns and villages, Gaza with its towns and villagesas far as the Brook of Egypt and the Great Sea with [its] coastline.
15:48 And in the mountain country: Shamir, Jattir, Sochoh,
15:49 Dannah, Kirjath Sannah (which [is] Debir),
15:50 Anab, Eshtemoh, Anim,
15:51 Goshen, Holon, and Giloh: eleven cities with their villages;
15:52 Arab, Dumah, Eshean,
15:53 Janum, Beth Tappuah, Aphekah,
15:54 Humtah, Kirjath Arba (which [is] Hebron), and Zior: nine cities with their villages;
15:55 Maon, Carmel, Ziph, Juttah,
15:56 Jezreel, Jokdeam, Zanoah,
15:57 Kain, Gibeah, and Timnah: ten cities with their villages;
15:58 Halhul, Beth Zur, Gedor,
15:59 Maarath, Beth Anoth, and Eltekon: six cities with their villages;
15:60 Kirjath Baal (which [is] Kirjath Jearim) and Rabbah: two cities with their villages.
15:61 In the wilderness: Beth Arabah, Middin, Secacah,
15:62 Nibshan, the City of Salt, and En Gedi: six cities with their villages.
15:63 As for the Jebusites, the inhabitants of Jerusalem, the children of Judah could not drive them out; but the Jebusites dwell with the children of Judah at Jerusalem to this day.
