13:1 Setelah Yosua menjadi tua dan lanjut umurnya, berfirmanlah TUHAN kepadanya: "Engkau telah tua dan lanjut umur, dan dari negeri ini masih amat banyak yang belum diduduki. 13:2 Inilah negeri yang tertinggal: segenap wilayah orang Filistin dan seluruh negeri orang Gesur, 13:3 mulai dari sungai Sikhor di sebelah timur Mesir sampai ke daerah Ekron ke arah utara -- semuanya itu terhitung tanah orang Kanaan --; ada lima raja kota orang Filistin, yakni di Gaza, di Asdod, di Askelon, di Gat dan di Ekron --; dan orang Awi 13:4 di sebelah selatan; seluruh negeri orang Kanaan dan Meara, kepunyaan orang Sidon, sampai ke Afek, sampai ke daerah orang Amori; 13:5 selanjutnya negeri orang Gebal dan seluruh gunung Libanon di sebelah matahari terbit, mulai dari Baal-Gad di kaki gunung Hermon sampai ke jalan yang menuju ke Hamat; 13:6 semua orang yang diam di pegunungan, mulai dari gunung Libanon sampai ke Misrefot-Maim; semua orang Sidon. Aku sendiri akan menghalau mereka dari depan orang Israel; hanya undikanlah dahulu negeri itu di antara orang Israel menjadi milik pusaka mereka, seperti yang Kuperintahkan kepadamu. 13:7 Oleh sebab itu, bagikanlah negeri ini kepada suku yang sembilan itu dan kepada suku Manasye yang setengah itu menjadi milik pusaka mereka." Pembagian tanah yang di seberang sungai Yordan 13:8 Bersama-sama dengan suku Manasye yang setengah lagi, orang Ruben dan orang Gad telah menerima milik pusaka mereka, yang telah diberikan Musa kepada mereka di sebelah timur sungai Yordan, seperti yang ditentukan Musa, hamba TUHAN itu, kepada mereka, 13:9 yakni mulai dari Aroer, yang di tepi sungai Arnon, kota pada pertengahan sungai itu, dan seluruh dataran tinggi, dari Medeba sampai ke Dibon; 13:10 dan segala kota Sihon, raja orang Amori, yang berkerajaan di Hesybon, sampai ke daerah orang Amon; 13:11 selanjutnya Gilead dan daerah orang Gesur dan orang Maakha, serta seluruh gunung Hermon dan seluruh tanah Basan sampai ke Salkha, 13:12 seluruh kerajaan Og di Basan, yang memerintah di Asytarot dan Edrei, dialah yang tinggal hidup dari sisa-sisa orang Refaim yang telah dikalahkan dan dihalau oleh Musa. 13:13 Tetapi orang Israel tidak menghalau orang Gesur dan orang Maakha itu, sehingga Gesur dan Maakha masih tetap diam di tengah-tengah Israel sampai sekarang. 13:14 Hanya kepada suku Lewi tidak diberikan milik pusaka: yang menjadi milik pusakanya ialah TUHAN, Allah Israel, seperti yang dijanjikan-Nya kepada mereka. 13:15 Kepada suku bani Ruben, menurut kaum-kaum mereka, telah diberikan Musa bagian ini: 13:16 daerah kepunyaan mereka mulai dari Aroer yang di tepi sungai Arnon, kota pada pertengahan sungai itu, dan seluruh dataran tinggi dekat Medeba; 13:17 Hesybon dan segala kotanya, yang di dataran tinggi, yakni Dibon, Bamot-Baal, Bet-Baal-Meon, 13:18 Yahas, Kedemot, Mefaat, 13:19 Kiryataim, Sibma, Zeret-Hasahar di atas gunung di lembah itu, 13:20 Bet-Peor, lereng-lereng gunung Pisga, Bet-Yesimot, 13:21 selanjutnya segala kota di dataran tinggi itu dan seluruh kerajaan Sihon, raja orang Amori, yang memerintah di Hesybon, yang dikalahkan oleh Musa; bersama-sama dia juga dikalahkannya raja-raja Midian, yakni Ewi, Rekem, Zur, Hur dan Reba, raja-raja bawahan Sihon, penduduk negeri itu. 13:22 Juga Bileam bin Beor, juru tenung itu, telah dibunuh oleh orang Israel dengan pedang, beserta orang-orang yang telah mati tertikam oleh mereka. 13:23 Jadi batas daerah bani Ruben ialah sungai Yordan dengan daerah pinggirnya. Itulah milik pusaka bani Ruben menurut kaum-kaum mereka, yakni kota-kota dengan desa-desanya. 13:24 Kepada suku Gad, yakni kepada bani Gad menurut kaum-kaum mereka, telah diberikan Musa bagian ini: 13:25 daerah kepunyaan mereka ialah Yaezer dan segala kota negeri Gilead, serta setengah negeri orang Amon sampai ke Aroer, yang di sebelah timur Raba, 13:26 yakni mulai dari Hesybon sampai ke Ramat-Mizpa dan Betonim, dan dari Mahanaim sampai ke daerah Debir; 13:27 dan di lembah: Bet-Haram, Bet-Nimra, Sukot dan Zafon, sisa kerajaan Sihon, raja Hesybon; sungai Yordan dengan daerah pinggirnya, sampai ke ujung danau Kineret, di sebelah timur sungai Yordan. 13:28 Itulah milik pusaka bani Gad menurut kaum-kaum mereka, yakni kota-kota dengan desa-desanya. 13:29 Kepada suku Manasye yang setengah itu, yakni kepada puak bani Manasye yang setengah itu, menurut kaum-kaum mereka, telah diberikan Musa bagian ini: 13:30 daerah mereka mulai dari Mahanaim: seluruh Basan, seluruh kerajaan Og, raja Basan, dan segenap Hawot-Yair, yang di Basan itu, enam puluh kota banyaknya; 13:31 selanjutnya setengah Gilead, Asytarot dan Edrei, kota-kota kerajaan Og di Basan, menjadi bagian bani Makhir, anak Manasye, yaitu bagian setengah bani Makhir menurut kaum-kaum mereka. 13:32 Itulah semuanya yang dibagikan Musa sebagai milik pusaka di dataran Moab di sebelah timur sungai Yordan dekat Yerikho. 13:33 Tetapi kepada suku Lewi Musa tidak memberikan milik pusaka: TUHAN, Allah Israel, Dialah yang menjadi milik pusaka mereka, seperti yang dijanjikan-Nya kepada mereka.

13:1 Now Joshua was old, advanced in years. And the LORD said to him: "You are old, advanced in years, and there remains very much land yet to be possessed.
13:2 "This is the land that yet remains: all the territory of the Philistines and all [that of] the Geshurites,
13:3 "from Sihor, which [is] east of Egypt, as far as the border of Ekron northward ([which] is counted as Canaanite); the five lords of the Philistinesthe Gazites, the Ashdodites, the Ashkelonites, the Gittites, and the Ekronites; also the Avites;
13:4 "from the south, all the land of the Canaanites, and Mearah that belongs to the Sidonians as far as Aphek, to the border of the Amorites;
13:5 "the land of the Gebalites, and all Lebanon, toward the sunrise, from Baal Gad below Mount Hermon as far as the entrance to Hamath;
13:6 "all the inhabitants of the mountains from Lebanon as far as the Brook Misrephoth, [and] all the Sidoniansthem I will drive out from before the children of Israel; only divide it by lot to Israel as an inheritance, as I have commanded you.
13:7 "Now therefore, divide this land as an inheritance to the nine tribes and half the tribe of Manasseh."
13:8 With the other half tribe the Reubenites and the Gadites received their inheritance, which Moses had given them, beyond the Jordan eastward, as Moses the servant of the LORD had given them:
13:9 from Aroer which [is] on the bank of the River Arnon, and the town that [is] in the midst of the ravine, and all the plain of Medeba as far as Dibon;
13:10 all the cities of Sihon king of the Amorites, who reigned in Heshbon, as far as the border of the children of Ammon;
13:11 Gilead, and the border of the Geshurites and Maachathites, all Mount Hermon, and all Bashan as far as Salcah;
13:12 all the kingdom of Og in Bashan, who reigned in Ashtaroth and Edrei, who remained of the remnant of the giants; for Moses had defeated and cast out these.
13:13 Nevertheless the children of Israel did not drive out the Geshurites or the Maachathites, but the Geshurites and the Maachathites dwell among the Israelites until this day.
13:14 Only to the tribe of Levi he had given no inheritance; the sacrifices of the LORD God of Israel made by fire [are] their inheritance, as He said to them.
13:15 And Moses had given to the tribe of the children of Reuben [an inheritance] according to their families.
13:16 Their territory was from Aroer, which [is] on the bank of the River Arnon, and the city that [is] in the midst of the ravine, and all the plain by Medeba;
13:17 Heshbon and all its cities that [are] in the plain: Dibon, Bamoth Baal, Beth Baal Meon,
13:18 Jahaza, Kedemoth, Mephaath,
13:19 Kirjathaim, Sibmah, Zereth Shahar on the mountain of the valley,
13:20 Beth Peor, the slopes of Pisgah, and Beth Jeshimoth
13:21 all the cities of the plain and all the kingdom of Sihon king of the Amorites, who reigned in Heshbon, whom Moses had struck with the princes of Midian: Evi, Rekem, Zur, Hur, and Reba, who [were] princes of Sihon dwelling in the country.
13:22 The children of Israel also killed with the sword Balaam the son of Beor, the soothsayer, among those who were killed by them.
13:23 And the border of the children of Reuben was the bank of the Jordan. This [was] the inheritance of the children of Reuben according to their families, the cities and their villages.
13:24 Moses also had given [an inheritance] to the tribe of Gad, to the children of Gad according to their families.
13:25 Their territory was Jazer, and all the cities of Gilead, and half the land of the Ammonites as far as Aroer, which [is] before Rabbah,
13:26 and from Heshbon to Ramath Mizpah and Betonim, and from Mahanaim to the border of Debir,
13:27 and in the valley Beth Haram, Beth Nimrah, Succoth, and Zaphon, the rest of the kingdom of Sihon king of Heshbon, with the Jordan as [its] border, as far as the edge of the Sea of Chinnereth, on the other side of the Jordan eastward.
13:28 This [is] the inheritance of the children of Gad according to their families, the cities and their villages.
13:29 Moses also had given [an inheritance] to half the tribe of Manasseh; it was for half the tribe of the children of Manasseh according to their families:
13:30 Their territory was from Mahanaim, all Bashan, all the kingdom of Og king of Bashan, and all the towns of Jair which are in Bashan, sixty cities;
13:31 half of Gilead, and Ashtaroth and Edrei, cities of the kingdom of Og in Bashan, [were] for the children of Machir the son of Manasseh, for half of the children of Machir according to their families.
13:32 These [are the areas] which Moses had distributed as an inheritance in the plains of Moab on the other side of the Jordan, by Jericho eastward.
13:33 But to the tribe of Levi Moses had given no inheritance; the LORD God of Israel [was] their inheritance, as He had said to them.
